Velocity - A Class Of Its Own (Mondays 7:15-8:00AM)

What is a Velocity class?

Velocity is a hybrid exercise class combining the best elements of cardio fitness & muscle conditioning both on and off the bike.

You'll cycle your way through mixed terrain whilst incorporating exercises like squats, lunges. planks & more along the way!

 

What will I need to take part in a Velocity class?

Velocity classes take place in the cycle studio, you'll be provided with all the equipment you need. Just bring yourself, some water and maybe a towel for when things get sweaty!!

We typically use a spin bike, hand weights and a mat throughout the session.

 

What can I expect to happen during a Velocity class?

Velocity is a class which has been choreographed to music. We will use the beat of the music to keep in time with the exercises. Some tracks will be spent completely on the bike, some will be all off the bike and some tracks will switch between the two. One thing's for sure, you'll never be bored!!

 

Is Velocity suitable for everyone?

Yes! All exercises can be taken at your own pace and you do not need to use any of the additional weights provided if you don't want to. If you do have any injuries it's best to check with the instructor first before taking part but most exercises can be modified where required.

 

Can I wear shoes with cleats?

Cycling shoes with cleats are not suitable for a Velocity class due to the on and off bike nature of the workout.

 

How much does a Velocity class cost?
